All of us wish for a good pregnancy but we have to bear whatever happens as we can’t stop it. Just as women shine they can still bear the marks of what pregnancy can do to the body. From acne breakouts to stretch marks and even pregnancy masque. Stretch marks normally appear six to seven months into the gestation. Many may get them faster depending on the elasticity of their skin, their genetics and also their weight gain. A stretch mark is made when the second layer (dermis) of the skin is stretched to the limit point. It happens first as ruddy lines. As time go by they will wither to silverish marble color. Is there any method by which we can prevent them? We can buy many kinds of products that are made to prevent stretch marks (like cocoa butter) but they actually only help with the waterlessness of the skin.
It all reckons on the measure of elasticity that we have in our skin and genetics. Microdermabrasion is reported to help stretch marks but requires to be done as early as possible after giving birth, when they are still reddish and in the curing process. Marks that have a silverish look cannot be changed. Progesterone and estrogen production step-ups during pregnancy causing the body release more melanin.
